Staff training is incredibly important in all retail businesses. In difficult times training becomes more important for your staff, therefore the Association has put together a training programme that offers flexibility and choice no matter what your needs or where you are in New Zealand

2009 is going to be a year to refocus within your business. To help you plan for the future, the Association wants to offer you a greater training programme, such as choice of topics, a high standard and results. We will identify training providers for you and will act as a conduit, letting you know the who, what, when, where and how for retail training in New Zealand.

To do this we have developed two new online resources - the Training Directory and Training Calendar.

The Training Directory provides information about our various training partners and their key strengths and skills. No matter what kind of training you require we have a partner that can help.

The Training Calendar is a monthly listing of all the courses that are being offered around the country by our training partners. This list is continually updated and extends at least 6 months ahead to allow you to plan your staff training and effectively as possible.

The NZRA's eRetail Seminar Series has been developed to provide retailers with practical insights and tools delivered by local and international experts, the series is designed to enable you to enhance your online presence, no matter what stage in the process your business is at.

Remember to regularly check both the Directory and Calendar to see the latest information and courses that are available.
