Social Media Marketing eCourse

After a successful introduction, we are pleased to be offering this seven-week online eCourse which has been designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to social media marketing, from the basics to detailed instructions on how to build and run a social media marketing programme. This is an online-only course therefore participants can take part from anywhere in their own time.

This eCourse is conducted on a web-based e-learning software platform, enabling course participants to proceed at their own pace, accessing materials online. This particular eCourse provides content in a variety of multimedia forms, including videos, slideshows, flash-based presentations and PDF files. No special software is required to participate.

We typically suggest allowing an average of two hours a week for the course.

The next course commences Monday 20 February 2012.


About the trainer

Michael Carney is a longtime marketer with an insatiable passion for whatever's new, different, exciting or interesting in the world of communications. He is Chairman of the eMarketing Network, the digital arm of the Marketing Association.

Michael has been in the marketing game since 1971, online since 1987 and keeps tabs on a wide range of trends and developments, locally and around the world. He has extensive experience as a writer, research analyst, media director, strategist and planning director and runs his own marketing consultancy, Netmarketing Services Limited.

Michael is the author of Trade Me Success Secrets (now in its Second Edition), a regular columnist for Marketing Magazine and NZRetail, his articles will be combined into a general practice marketing book, he is also the writer/editor of the MarketingWeek newsletter.
