NEw president for the new zealand retailers association
At the Annual General Meeting of the New Zealand Retailers Association held on 4th August Mr Philip Richards of J Ballantyne & Co of Christchurch was elected as the new President.
Mr Richards has a long involvement in the retail industry and comes from one of the icon retailers in New Zealand. He replaces Mr Bruce Gregory of Leading Edge Communications who had completed his two years as President.

At the AGM, life membership of the Association was awarded to Mr Ted van Arkel, the recently retired Managing Director of Progressive Enterprises. Ted had served on the Board of the Association for a number of years and this award recognised his huge contribution to both the industry and the Association.
