Plumbing, gasfitting and drainlaying help www.letsfixit.org.nz is a voluntary organisation set up for members of the plumbing industry to co-ordinate efforts to help the people of Christchurch get back on their feet by getting basic water and wastewater supply reconnected with no charge for labour, as soon as possible. You can visit the site to provide help or register for help.

Meridian Power Update (1 Mar 2011) Meridian Energy has established a temporary call centre in their Wellington Office. Their 0800 496 777 number is now operational and manned by relocated Christchurch call centre staff from 7.30am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
