Our leasing expert John Starr is an experienced commercial property manager having spent 30 years in the New Zealand property industry and specialising in retail leasing and has acted as both landlord and tenant and has been involved in all aspects of retail property including purchasing, selling, developing, leasing and fitting out. 

He has been directly involved in preparing, negotiating and working under development agreements, leasing agreements and lease documents for both shopping centres and strip shopping centres.

The advisory service can be accessed by telephone fax, and email.  He will answer all property related queries, peruse and comment on all documentation and assist in drafting correspondence.

This is a free service to members and will include whatever matters can be covered over the telephone, perusal of draft documents and lease agreements, preparation of letters and comments or question on lease proposals and advice on, and referral to, various professional specialists as Valuers and Solicitors.

Any enquiry requiring more input than this will require direct engagement of our leasing advisor by the member and carry a charge of $80 per hour for members.
