About the Equestrian Supply Industry Association
ESIA was formed after a meeting of interested equestrian people in April 2002 and a committee of 6 became the inaugural Executives. ESIA has 4 Executive meetings a year
This Association is a non-profit trade association made up of wholesalers and retailers operating under the auspices of the New Zealand Retailers Association.
ESIA is involved in the raising of retail and technical standards in the equestrian trade, exerting an important influence over the setting of the standards.
ESIA's objective is to provide a national organisation for retailers, importers and distributors in order to develop the retail equestrian industry in New Zealand.
What is ESIA doing?
- Proactively promotes and protects the interests of its members
- Promoting of more professionalism in the Industry
- Represents members' interest to both local and central Government
- Industry representations to the Commerce Commission and Safety Standards Committee
- Informative quarterly newsletter to members
- Trade Show in 2004

Who can join ESIA
Membership is open to any New Zealand based company, or overseas company represented in New Zealand, involved in the retailing and wholesaling of equestrian products.
How to join ESIA
Membership is on application and approval by the ESIA Executive Committee, and by payment of an annual subscription fee. For details phone or fax our Trade Group Executive.
