Business Fast 50 Awards
Background
The Fast 50 invites public and private owned businesses, both large and small to benchmark their growth achievements against New Zealand’s fastest growth companies and we celebrate the successes of the businesses at an awards ceremony in October.
Growth is calculated as the % increase in turnover over the last 3 years. For example, if your year end is 31 March, we’ll compare your turnover from 31 March 2007 to your turnover from 31 March 2005. Please rest assured that no financial details are released by us – only the % increase in turnover is reported.
Reasons to enter
Entering the Fast 50 is a chance for you to recognise the hard work of all the staff in the company as the award is for the company, not just you as owner/manager. The Fast 50 list is published in Unlimited in October so it’s also an opportunity to get some publicity for the business.
This year all entrants will also be go into a draw to win a place on the Institute of Director’s new two-day Governance for Rapid Growth Companies course, plus one year’s free membership to the Institute of Directors – an added incentive to enter.

In addition to the national Deloitte/Unlimited Fast 50 index, they're looking for regional winners in a number of specialist categories too so there are a number of opportunities to be ‘named’. These categories are listed at the bottom of this page.
